This record is Hot...Re-make to the Pusha T "Exodus" record...I actually like this one better...Yung Hustle been putting in work, he is on fire coming out of Texas...I see big things in the future...
After listening my feeling is that this song never got exciting. The track is very blah and average. Although i appreciated his vocabulary it was just not clever enough for me. The hook never captured my attention. There's a zillion rappers that are telling the story daily about how they are so much better than the next. There's a thin line between Good and Great!!! Although good....It takes greatness to break through in this business today.
Hmm.. After watching and listening.. the beat is already simple because its meant for a rapper to aggressively spit on it like pusha did.. All this calm rap he was doing "nah" didnt work.. I like the wordplay and vocab every other bar.. But the finally question is, would you place this in the club over the original song? the answer is no.. He should of choose a better beat to spit on, its already bad enough the camera was low-budget..
