Authorities released a sketch Thursday of one of the two suspects in the fatal shooting of a rapper last week.
Both men are still at large and should be considered armed and dangerous, Cobb County police said.
Justin Mitchell, also known as “Yung Teddy,” was found shot to death at his Austell home Jan. 2. The 23-year-old had posted on Twitter hours earlier about death threats against him.
The first suspect in the shooting, who is the one depicted in the sketch, is described as a black man, 20 to 23 years old, and between 5-foot-6 and 5-9 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray sweater, dark pants and a black beanie hat. He had a handgun.
The second suspect is described as a black man between 5-4 and 5-6. He had a navy blue bandana covering his face and was wearing a multicolored beanie hat.
No one has been arrested in the killing, but a woman has been charged with sending Mitchell death threats.
Yachari Kiyana Miller allegedly sent Mitchell messages saying, “You a dead man walking” and “This your year to die,” according to an arrest warrant. Miller, of Powder Springs, was arrested Friday and remains in the Cobb County Detention Center charged with one count of terroristic threats and acts, a felony.
Anyone with information about the case should call Cobb County police at 770-499-3945.
