Lil Wayne 'Lectures' Drake, Bow Wow To Avoid Prison

Lil Wayne's daily prison routine reportedly consists of mundane activities like watching ESPN and chatting on the phone. Despite his seemingly laid-back schedule, the Young Money/ Cash Money leader has cautioned his protégés to steer clear of trouble. Jail is no place for successful rappers, according to Wayne. During a visit to the incarcerated MC, Bow Wow, who joined Weezy's camp last year, said Wayne urged him and Young Money star Drake to stay on their best behavior.

"One thing he told me when I went to visit him, he was like ... 'Bow, this ain't for us, this ain't it. This ain't built for cats like us. They don't understand us, we don't understand them. Don't do it man, just stay out of trouble. You and Drizzy, y'all stay clean, y'all stay doing what y'all do. Y'all can do this forever,' " Bow Wow told Houston's 97.9 The Box. "I knew he meant it, [because] Tune never lectures me like that ... but he was serious."

The 23-year-old rapper said that seeing Wayne locked up was a "humbling experience" and recalled hanging with Weezy before his prison stint.

"In our studio, it's my room ... then Stunna's room then Wayne's room. I'm so used to seeing the Bugatti pull up, I'm so used to ... going over Wayne's house and the chef is always cooking," Bow Wow said. "You don't like seeing your boy like that," Bow lamented.

Similar to how Wayne doled out advice to Bow, the young rapper said he looks out for another member of the extended Young Money/ Cash Money collective: Nicki Minaj. Bow Wow, who stars in the comedy "Lottery Ticket," almost scored the hip-hop diva a role in the summer flick.

"To be honest, Nicki was close to being [the character] 'Nikki' in the movie. I called Nicki and said, 'Yo, I think you should audition for this role.' " Unfortunately, Bow's bid to get Minaj some screen time was unsuccessful: The part eventually went to R&B vixen Teairra Mari. "I thought [Minaj] did good, but unfortunately you know how things don't work out."

Fans won't catch Minaj on the big screen in "Lottery Ticket" but Bow Wow said a big tour featuring Weezy's hitmaking squad will go down once Wayne comes home.

"When he gets out, we definitely plan on this Young Money/ Cash Money tour," Bow said. "[The tour will feature] myself, Nicki, Drizzy, Wayne and the whole entire family."

What do you think about Lil Wayne's advice to Bow and Drake? Let us know in the comments.

Dorrough Comments On Rumors Of A Sex Tape

(AllHipHop News) Dallas, Texas rapper Dorrough has cleared the air surrounding rumors on Twitter, Facebook and blog, about the looming release of a sex tape.

“I sent the single right after I UStreamed last night," Dorrough told AllHipHop.com. "I Ustreamed about 9 P.M. Central time, and it was basically because everyone was blowing up my Twitter about a little issue, about sex tape going around, and I just got on my UStream and let the people know what I could tell them, ya feel me."

“Since there was sex talk going around, you know what I’m saying, I been ready to leak a record on the album, even though I wasn’t supposed to," Dorrough explained. "The label is mad about me about it, but I ain’t even trippin’. I gotta give the people something before the album drops."

And just as Dorrough’s sex tape leaks, a new song from the rapper aptly titled “Freaky,” featuring Tameka Pearl, also a Prime Time Click artist, was recently released.

“It’s a crazy man. I am more of an action over words type person. But it’s really that sex talk," Dorrough explained. "Actually a lot of people don’t know that I’m big with women, so I had to give them that real down south southern sex talk in this song."

Dorrough also took the time to state that the song has nothing to do with the sex tape.

“I had to let everyone know on my UStream that what was supposed to be the sex tape and the song have nothing to do with each other. Tameka is my artist so we are just working on branding her right now,” Dorrough said.

In related news, the first single on the album, “Get Big”, is in heavy rotation across the country.

“ It’s [‘Get Big’] growing, its almost at 2,000 spins across the country.  It's growing everyday, its on the Top 10 Countdown on BET 106 & Park, it was the MTV Jam of the Week, its #4 on MTV Sucka Free,” Dorrough commented.

“It’s going viral. It’s crazy in the clubs and concerts when I perform in any city in the country.  It’s even getting a bigger response than 'Ice Cream Paint Job,' so its just one of those 2010 anthems. Its gonna be a big hit with the sports teams,” Dorrough said.

Get Big the album is dropping September 7th and features Ray J, Juvenile, Gorilla Zoe, Yo Gotti, Jim Jones, Mouse on the Track, Nitti,  2Much and Q Smith who both did production on “Ice Cream Paint Job” and “Halle Berry” respectively.

Wiz Khalifa Respecfully Declines Drake’s Offer to Tour

During his Ustream broadcast, Drizzy plead with Wiz Khalifa to join him on Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour but according to XXL Magazine, Wiz Khalifa believes this wouldn't be best for his career.

“Just the fact of cuz even extending his hand and me being on his radar is tight, to me,” Wiz tells XXL. “It just lets me know that I’m doin’ what I need to be doin’ as far as stayin’ relevant and stayin’ poppin’. But I think to keep me poppin and keep me relevant I gotta stay buildin’ on top of what I’m doin’ and what I been doin’. No disrespect to cuz or anybody else who might wanna see me do some more collaborative things, but to keep buildin’ and keep my brand as strong as what it is, I gotta keep focusin’ on what it is. This is my first tour that I got comin’ up, the Waken Baken tour, I gotta at least kick that off and make that it what it is so we can do 10 more.

BABY SPEAKS ON CASH MONEY OUTLASTING NO LIMIT

In a recent interview Birdman broke down how he thought Cash Money was able to outlast other powerhouse record labels.

When you think about it, it’s kinda crazy how Cash Money outlasted all the other labels that y’all came into the game with. Labels like, Ruff Ryders, No Limit and Roc-A-Fella.

I look at that shit as we went through war and we sustained the weather and we stood in the fog. Even when muthafuckas counted us out, we stood up and we manned up. We did everything we had to, to get where we’re at today. I think God gives it to ya when he feels you’re ready for it. It took us a long time; we had to go through a lot of changes. A lot of obstacles, losses, gains. I just think right now we’re so great at this shit. We got so many young niggas who look at me and Wayne and what we’ve accomplished. You see the hunger [that] Drake and all the rest of those little niggas [have] because they’re reaching for those stories. We work like niggas who never made a dollar and I think that’s impressive to them. That makes them go harder. Those little niggas got promising futures.

Plus, you diversified. Before it was just a New Orleans thing, now you have Nicki Minaj from New York and Drake from Canada. It’s not just rap either, you have Kevin Rudolph and Jay Sean.

We had to do that. We had to expand for a longer run. I felt like that was very important. Honestly, we’ve been tryin’ to do it, we just never got it off the ground. Now that we have the staff and Universal believing in us, allowing us to have the staff and to do the things we do, it should make it that much easier. But when you have a company that ain’t supportin’ you and you’re trying to do a lot then you’re gonna lose
