Outkast's Big Boi Offers Fans Free Show In Miami

Five-time Grammy Award winning rapper Big Boi has teamed with HP, MySpace.com and AllHipHop.com to give a special free performance in Miami, Florida this Wednesday (August 18th).

The rapper will perform selections from his new album Sir Lucious Left Foot…The Son of Chico Dusty, in addition to a variety of songs by his group, Outkast.

The free concert, which will take place at Sobe Live, is part of HP's Summer Music Campaign.

During the evening, executives from HP will donate product to Big Boi's Big Kidz Foundation, which aims to educate at-risk youth using arts and entertainment.

“I’ve always been about keeping music good & funky, so partnering with HP, Myspace & AllHipHop.com on this music campaign just made sense,” Big Boi said in a statement released today (August 14th).

For fans who cannot attend, AllHipHop.com and MySpace.com will stream the concert live via UStream.

Tickets for the event are available on a first come, first serve basis for fans 21-years of age and up.

Doors to the free show open at 10:00 PM, while Big Boi will hit the stage at 11:00 PM.

Juvenile Gets Probation Over Weed Charge

Rapper Juvenile was sentenced to six months of probation after he pleaded guilty to possessing marijuana last week.

According to police, Juvenile was arrested in February of 2009, after neighbors called the police to complain about the smell of smoke emanating from the house in Arabi.

Juvenile, born Terius Gray, was at the residence utilizing a home recording studio when police knocked on the door to investigate the neighbors' claim.

A search of the house turned up a small amount of marijuana in the kitchen, which Juvenile admitted was his.

Both Juvenile, 34 and music producer Leroy Edwards, 42, were charged with marijuana possession.

In addition to the six months of probation, Juvenile was fined $250 and must also pay court costs.

Fantasia Meets With Her Married Boo Following Suicide Attempt

Fantasia met with her married lover Antwaun Cook less than 24 hours after being released from the Charlotte, NC hospital that treated her for an overdose earlier this week.

According to RadarOnline reports:

The American Idol winner — who allegedly attempted to commit suicide when married Cook told her their relationship was over — met up with him at a secluded park near her lavish waterfront mansion.

And the VH1 cameras were rolling on the reunion for Fantasia’s new reality show Fantasia for Real.
