Young Buck is back in business. The former G-Unit rapper linked up with fellow Memphis, TN producer and one-time XXLMag.com blogger Drumma Boy for the sequel to his 2009 mixtape, Back On My Buck Shit, set to drop this Halloween (October 31) at midnight.
DB provided the beats for the entire 16-track project, hosted by DJ Scream and DJ Smallz, while cameos were provided by Lupe Fiasco, Game, 8Ball & MJG, Rocko and the Outlawz. The disc will be offered for free download at both therealyoungbuck.com and drum-squad.com.
Yesterday (October 27) we premiered the first track from the release, “Came Back.”

Winners of the first annual BEST IN DADE awards that took place at Sobe Live, presented by Street Connect DJs

The first-ever Best In Dade Awards presented by Street Connect DJs was held last night, Oct. 26, 2010 at Sobe Live, the best Hip-Hop venue voted by VH1 Hip-Hop Honors. Hosted by comedian Larry Dogg, the Best In Dade Awards celebrated the best in South Florida’s Hip-Hop culture; saluting South Florida’s artist on the verge and honoring the achievements of Maybach Music Group Founder Rick Ross.
The red carpet kicked off at 7pm as nominees’ & performers arrived to find out who voters named as Best In Dade. Performers and nominee’s in attendance included Poe Boy Music Group Recording Artist Billy Blue & Brisco; both left winners, receiving awards for Best Mixtape Of The Year & Best Male Lyricist respectively. Maybach Music Group Triple C’s recording artists Gunplay, DJ Sam Sneak, GMASH and more walked away winners at the inaugural Best In Dade Awards as well. A special guest appearance by Slip N Slide Records founder Ted Lucas, DJ Khaled, Ace Hood and Pretty Ricky kept the crowd guessing what was next.
Def Jam South President and We The Best Records Founder, DJ Khaled accepted the Best In Dade Uncle Al Award on behalf of Rick Ross. The Best In Dade Uncle Al Award named in tribute of the late DJ Uncle Al’s legacy, who during his career, was known for his trend setting and innovative abilities in music producing and broadcasting as well as his philosophy of “peace in the hood” and non-violence in the community. Ricky Rozay’s achievements and his work with Rick Ross Charities made him the ideal honoree for the Best In Dade Uncle Al Award.
As the award show concluded, attendees hit the pavement of South Beach elated about their wins and discussed their plans to be nominated for the 2nd Annual Street Connect DJs Best In Dade Awards

Rapper Method Man is one of a variety of actors featured in a new horror themed television show being executive produced by actor/comedian/musician, Jamie Foxx.
The TV horror series is titled Night Tales and will be hosted by actresses Stacy Dash and Denise Richards.
Foxx's No-Brainer Productions is producing 26 episodes of the series, which also counts NBA star Mitch Richmond as an executive producer.
The series, which is based on the 2008 BET flick Nite Tales: The Movie, is slated to be split across two seasons, according to Variety.
Foxx and company are planning on distributing Night Tales through a variety of platforms, including television, the Internet and comic books.
In addition to Method Man, Tom Arnold and Jason Mewes star in separate episodes of Night Tales, which presently has no air date.
Hip-Hop star Pitbull will welcome Lebron James and the Miami Heat this Friday (October 29th), when the team faces off against the Orlando Magic.
Pitbull has been tapped to perform during the Miami Heat's opener, which will take place outside the East Plaza of the AmericanAirlines Arena.
While Pitbull performs, DJ MDOT will spin, while the Miami Heat Dancers entertain the crowd until the game starts.
The concert is being sponsored by T-Mobile as part of a new multi-year contract between the mobile company and The Heat.
Pitbull is slated to perform at 7:00 PM.
